SheaMoisture Shampoo & Conditioner

In February, I was walking through Target and stumbled upon SheaMoisture's Hair Products.  The price seemed reasonable for the ingredients listed and the packaging was very appealing.  I decided to purchase...

The Organic Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo

The Organic Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner

I am glad to say my $9.99+tax per item purchase wasn't a bad one!!  I love the feeling the shampoo leaves my hair and scalp with.  I doesn't completely strip my hair like most shampoos do.  It is Sulfate free so that is a definite plus for you natural product using ladies.  My only negative would be that the scent is VERY strong.  I have a very sensitive nose so yeah you know how that goes.

The conditioner is pretty good too.  I use this as a pre-poo for my daughter's hair and it helps retain moisture on her VERY DRY 4a/ab hair.  I also am able to comb through my transitioning hair with easy after applying this conditioner.

Although, I wouldn't use this as a staple because I LOVE MY Elasta QP products, I do recommend this for everyone to at least try.  You're hair might love it just as my daughters does.

A Little About Me.

My name is Nique and I was born and raised in beautiful Southern California.  I was brought up in a single parent household and my mother did the absolute best raising me to become a strong, independent and humble person.  I graduated with High Honors from high school in 2007 and am currently attending college.  Three years later, I am still exploring my major so I will be in college for a few unplanned years.  In 2009, I gave birth to my first and possibly only child Sky.  Upon giving birth to her, I realized that I would have to learn as much about natural hair as I can because I refused to relax her beautiful curly hair.  I stumbled upon Black Hair Media and began to explore all things hair related.  It was there that I began to learn about healthy hair care and how to retain length.  Now, seven months later, I decided to transition and document my journey.

Currently, I am 11 weeks post my last relaxer and transitioning seems to be a breeze.  I plan on doing the big chop on August 1, which is a week after my 21st birthday.  Hopefully, my transition will continue to be ease free and I hope to inspire other ladies to join in.

Stay tuned for videos and reviews as well.  I am a true product junkie!!!

Bless,

Nique
